Opeyemi has over 9 years of experience in agriculture, both on livestock and crops. Opeyemi started his career fully after the NYSC year, in the northern part of Nigeria, precisely katsina state as an agripreneur both in poultry (meat production) and crop production (Maize). In 2017, Opeyemi proceeded into another professional aspect of his field of study which has to do with disseminating information on agriculture in the rural area, training the trainers on GAP, GEP, GSP e.t.c, and promoting afforestation against deforestation. The aforementioned has been a pursuit to ensure that cocoa production in Nigeria is sustainable and certified from the conventional way of doing it. Osun state and Ondo state are areas where he has worked with an NGO, Farmers Development Union, and is still in the business of promoting sustainable cocoa, presently he occupies the position of the IMS Manager at Sunbeth Global Concept, where he is the sustainability team leader. Mr. Oyetunde Opeyemi has a Higher National Diploma in crop production technology from the Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan.
