Chairman of the Board
Julius B. (JB) Omodayo-Owotuga, Group Executive Director & Deputy CEO of Geregu Power Plc since 2019, has a diverse background in the oil and gas, banking, and financial services sectors. At Forte Oil Plc (now Ardova Plc), he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a multi-million-dollar enterprise, leading debt capital raises and strategic acquisitions. His tenure at the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) saw him drive significant financial operations and secure substantial trade deals. JB’s career began at KPMG and MBC International Bank, where he developed a strong foundation in financial management. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting, an MBA, and is a CFA Charter Holder. Additionally, he has completed executive programs at Oxford University, IE Business School, and the University of Lagos, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning. JB is also a Fellow of several prestigious institutes in Nigeria.

Richard Osuagwu

Mr Osuagwu heads the Risk Management Department of FSDH. Since he joined the organization in 1994, he has worked in the Internal Audit, Operations and Financial Control Departments of the Bank. Prior to his appointment as Chief Risk Officer, he headed the Internal Audit Department and before that, occupied the position of Chief Finance Officer. Before joining FSDH, Mr Osuagwu worked as a Senior Accountant at SCOA Nigeria Plc (Equip Division) and Financial Controller at Lowell-Cabot Securities & Investments Limited. He is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the IESE (Spain) Executive MBA programme of the Lagos Business School. He also holds a Master’s degree in Finance, specializing in Financial Sector Management from the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London). Mr Osuagwu has participated in several senior management courses both locally and internationally.
Oluwaseun Onayiga

Mr Onayiga is a senior finance professional with almost two decades of investment banking, investment research, private equity and VC investing experience.
He is currently a Co-Founder at ACQ Managers and the Managing Director & CEO of ACQ Capital Managers – the investment banking business of ACQ Managers (“ACQ”).
Prior to ACQ, Seun was a Managing Director & Head of the Africa business at BancTrust & Co. – a U.K headquartered, EM-focused, debt specialist investment bank a Managing Director & Head of SSA Debt Capital Markets with BancTrust & Co. (an Emerging Market debt focused investment bank), where he is charged with building the SSA business for the franchise.
Before joining BancTrust, Seun spent 12 years at Renaissance Capital (RenCap) where his last role was as Managing Director & Head of Investment Banking SSA.
Prior to RenCap, Seun had stints with Africapital Management – an energy and infrastructure focused advisory firm; Emerging Capital Partners – the Washington D.C. headquartered, Africa-focused, Private Equity fund; Afrinvest (West Africa) - one of Nigeria’s foremost investment banking boutiques, where he started his finance career as an investment research analyst; as well as with Julius Berger Nigeria Plc.

He is widely acclaimed to be Nigeria’s leading natural resources prepayment structured finance lawyer.Among several other ongoing transactions, Kehinde is currently leading a team advising the financier in connection with a US$2 billion financing for a multi-year drilling and asset development programme involving oil mining lease 42 in Nigeria. He is also co-leading the team advising Bank of China in connection with a circa US$3 billion financing of the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano gas pipeline project (a major gas infrastructure project in Nigeria designed to connect the pipeline networks in the eastern and western parts of Nigeria to the northern region, which will become the largest pipeline network in Nigeria, upon completion).
